परिचय | Introduction
नेपालको कला, संस्कृति र चलचित्र क्षेत्रको सम्वृद्धि तथा प्रवर्द्धनका लागि एउटा ऐतिहासिक कदम चालिँदैछ। गण्डकी प्रदेश, पर्वत जिल्लाको कुश्मामा "प्रथम धौलागिरी चलचित्र महोत्सव २०७८" आयोजना हुने भएको छ। अहुरी इन्टरटेन्मेन्ट प्रा.ली.को आयोजनामा हुने यो महोत्सवले धौलागिरी अञ्चलभित्रको सांस्कृतिक पहिचान, स्थानीय प्रतिभा र चलचित्र निर्माण क्षेत्रलाई नयाँ ऊर्जा दिने अपेक्षा गरिएको छ।
A historic milestone is being set for the growth and promotion of Nepali art, culture, and cinema. The "1st Dhaulagiri Film Festival 2078" is set to take place in Kushma, Parbat, within Gandaki Province. Organized by Ahuri Entertainment Pvt. Ltd., the festival is expected to bring new energy to the cultural identity, local talent, and filmmaking community of the Dhaulagiri region.
यस महोत्सवले नेपाली चलचित्र इतिहासमा गण्डकी प्रदेश र धौलागिरी क्षेत्रलाई एक नयाँ चलचित्र गन्तव्यका रूपमा चिनाउने लक्ष्य राखेको छ।

धौलागिरी चलचित्र महोत्सव २०७८ ले निम्न उद्देश्यहरू पूरा गर्ने लक्ष्य लिएको छ / The Dhaulagiri Film Festival 2078 aims to achieve the following:
- स्थानीय तथा राष्ट्रिय चलचित्र प्रतिभालाई एउटै मञ्चमा ल्याउने Bringing local and national film talent onto a single platform
- चलचित्रमार्फत समाजमा सकारात्मक तथा सार्थक सन्देश प्रवाह गर्ने Spreading positive and meaningful social messages through film
- निर्देशक, लेखक, सम्पादक, छायाँकार लगायत समस्त चलचित्रकर्मीहरूको सम्मान गर्दै सहकार्यको अवसर सिर्जना गर्ने Honoring directors, writers, editors, cinematographers, and all film professionals while creating opportunities for collaboration
- गण्डकी प्रदेश र धौलागिरी क्षेत्रलाई चलचित्र पर्यटन गन्तव्यका रूपमा स्थापित गर्ने Establishing Gandaki Province and the Dhaulagiri region as a film tourism destination

महोत्सवमा स्थानीय तथा राष्ट्रिय स्तरका कलाकार, निर्देशक, लेखक, सम्पादक, छायाँकन निर्देशक लगायत राष्ट्रिय चलचित्र निर्देशक समाजका विशिष्ट पदाधिकारीहरूको उपस्थिति रहनेछ।
The festival will see the presence of local and national artists, directors, writers, editors, and cinematographers, along with distinguished officials from the National Film Directors' Association.

यस महोत्सवको मूल आयोजक अहुरी इन्टरटेन्मेन्ट प्रा.ली. हो। यस संस्थाले विगत दुई वर्षदेखि चलचित्र, लघु चलचित्र (शर्ट फिल्म) तथा गीति भिडियो निर्माण गर्दै कलाप्रेमी र सर्जकहरूलाई व्यावसायिक अवसर र मञ्च प्रदान गर्दै आएको छ।
The principal organizer of this festival is Ahuri Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. For the past two years, the company has been producing films, short films, and music videos — providing professional opportunities and a platform for artists and creators alike.
