परिचय | Introduction
नेपालको चलचित्र क्षेत्रको समग्र विकास र धौलागिरी क्षेत्रको सांस्कृतिक समृद्धिको उद्देश्यसहित प्रथम धौलागिरी चलचित्र महोत्सव २०७८ गण्डकी प्रदेश अन्तर्गत कुश्मा, पर्वतमा आयोजित हुन गइरहेको छ।
With the goal of advancing Nepal's overall film industry and enriching the cultural heritage of the Dhaulagiri region, the 1st Dhaulagiri Film Festival 2078 is set to be held in Kushma, Parbat, under Gandaki Province.
यस ऐतिहासिक अवसरमा स्थानीय तथा राष्ट्रिय स्तरका कलाकार, निर्देशक, लेखक, सम्पादक, छायाँकार लगायत चलचित्र क्षेत्रका सम्पूर्ण पक्षलाई एउटै मंचमा प्रस्तुत गर्दै चलचित्रको माध्यमबाट राष्ट्रिय पहिचान, पर्यटन र समृद्धि प्रवर्द्धन गर्ने लक्ष्य लिइएको छ।
This historic occasion will bring together local and national artists, directors, writers, editors, cinematographers, and every branch of the film industry on a single platform — aiming to promote national identity, tourism, and prosperity through the power of cinema.

- धौलागिरी क्षेत्रका चलचित्रकर्मीमा आत्मविश्वास र प्रेरणा जगाउने। To inspire confidence and motivation among filmmakers of the Dhaulagiri region.

- धौलागिरी अञ्चलका पर्यटकिय स्थललाई राष्ट्रिय तथा अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय तहमा चिनाउने। To introduce the tourist destinations of the Dhaulagiri region at national and international levels.

कार्यक्रमलाई व्यवस्थित, सशक्त र सफल बनाउन ५०+ सदस्यीय महोत्सव मूल समिति गठन गरिएको छ, जसमा धौलागिरी अञ्चल (पर्वत, बाग्लुङ, म्याग्दी) तथा काठमाडौंबाट अनुभवी तथा सक्रिय व्यक्तिहरू समावेश छन्।
To make the festival well-organized, robust, and successful, a main organizing committee of over 50 members has been formed, comprising experienced and active individuals from the Dhaulagiri region (Parbat, Baglung, Myagdi) and Kathmandu.
