AHURI (अहुरी) is an upcoming Nepali full-length feature film from Ahuri Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. and Pratiphal Films, written, directed, and developed by Bishal Lohane. Combining Action, Adventure, Comedy, Fantasy, Horror, Mystery, and Sci-Fi, AHURI has been on a long cinematic journey that began in 2016.
After years of filmmaking, local screenings, special screenings, a charity show, and a festival screening, AHURI Nepali Movie is now set for Worldwide Release in 2027.
The Beginning of AHURI
The creative journey of AHURI began in 2016. The project was developed with the vision of creating an original Nepali feature film combining multiple genres and an imaginative cinematic world.
For director Bishal Lohane, AHURI is also a deeply personal filmmaking journey. He was born in Bhoksing, Parbat, and spent his childhood in Kushma, Parbat. The landscapes and communities of this region became an important part of the film's production.
The main shooting of AHURI took place in Bhoksing, the birthplace of director Bishal Lohane. A large portion of the film was also shot in and around Kushma, Parbat, Baglung, Beni, and surrounding locations.
AHURI Shooting Started in 2018
The principal shooting of AHURI Nepali Movie officially started on:
Date: December 22, 2018 (Saturday)

The production brought together actors, local artists, technicians, supporting crew members, and communities from different locations.
The filmmaking process was an independent production journey, involving challenges in production, resources, time, post-production, and distribution. Despite these challenges, the team continued to carry the project forward.
