Ahuri: Nepal's First Time Travel Superhero, Action, Adventure, Fantasy, Sci-fi Movie Set to Release in 2023
Nepali movie enthusiasts have something exciting to look forward to with the upcoming release of Ahuri, the country's first-ever action fantasy, superhero, adventure, action, sci-fi movie. Written and directed by A Bishal Lohane, the movie has been produced by Rimati Khorja Pun, Ram Prasad Paudel (Rc), Bhima Pariyar under the banner of Ahuri Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. & Pratiphal Films.
Featuring an ensemble cast of talented actors, including Kumar Gajurel (Gaju), Sarita Ghimire, Sanjeev Khadka, Shilpa Karki, Dimas Gurung, Laxmi Rai, Bigyan Hamal, and Arjun Thapa, the movie promises to deliver an epic adventure that Nepali moviegoers won't forget anytime soon.
Ahuri tells the story of a group of heroes who travel through time to save the world from an evil force that threatens to destroy it. With its unique blend of action, adventure, fantasy, and comedy, the movie promises to offer a fresh take on the superhero genre while showcasing the beauty of Nepal's diverse landscapes.
The movie's production started in 2018, and it is set to release soon in 2023. The post-production work was done at Motion Studio, supervised by Samir Miya, and edited by Bande Prasad. The ancient language in the movie was edited by Arjun Sharma (Vision), and the camera work was done by Kishan Bc. Bhupendra Bc directed the action sequences, and Lil Purja did the dubbing at Pun Digital Recording Studio.
The music for the songs in Ahuri has been composed by Manoj Chaulagain, and Pramod Praiyar has composed the background music scoring. With such a talented team behind it, it's no wonder that Ahuri has generated a lot of buzz in the Nepali movie industry.
